Professor Bob Johnston
Strategy innovation & Corporate Creativity
Class Date: 12– 13 November 2008
Class Time: 06:09pm
Location: Marriott Hotel - Zamalek Cairo
Duration: 3 Days
Objectives:-
The primary objective of this course is to provide attendees with a methodology and the tools for leading innovative change based on The Visterra Group’s experience on major “change” initiatives with companies like P & G, 3M, IBM, Carl Zeiss and Kodak, among others. The methodology is based, in part, on the seminal work of John Kotter at the Harvard Business School on “Leading Change”. Visterras five-phase process for strategy innovation (as outlined in our book The Power of Strategy Innovation) integrates with Kotters classic eight-step approach to leading change (as outlined in his book, Leading Change). The result is solid, market-tested methodology for creating successful change in corporations.
In addition:
- How company leaders must consider the "corporate management system" that makes leading and managing change a success.
- Successful leaders manage change in a system that clearly outlines roles, responsibilities, expectations, and metrics for driving innovative change.
Methodology & Content:-
This 3-day mini-course will provide a model and process for leading innovative change, engaging attendees in a highly interactive approach. Class discussion and interaction will be guided by a Harvard Business School case study and small group exercises designed to give each participant practice in the skills for leading innovative change.
Target Group:-
This course is designed for executives who own the responsibility for innovatively transforming their organization to meet the dynamic, often turbulent, challenges of the 21st century.
